Understanding
how Abraham was saved is very important to us, because everyone is
saved in the same way as Abraham was – by faith. When
we have faith in the Lord, the Lord reckons it to us as
righteousness. He credits to our account the righteousness of Jesus
who died for our sin and rose again. Our salvation is like Abraham's,
by God's grace, and in this we cannot boast or glory, we can only
boast in the Lord and give glory to Him, the glory that He, and He
alone, deserves.
