The New Covenant is the means of God bringing salvation to all people, to the Jew first and also to us. It is the work of God through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit to produce loving service in the people of God so that they please Him from the heart.
Sometimes we shy away from
service because we see our lack and think somehow that the New Covenant will suffer
because of our inadequacy. It is actually just the opposite that is
true! It is our inadequacy that makes
the power of God clear. Paul said, "When I am weak, I
am strong". The power of God, the greatness of the treasure, is seen when the vessel of God does not try to upstage the message.
