Perhaps the best known verse among Christians promoting that we meet together frequently as a church is Hebrews 10:24-25
“Let us consider how to
stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling
together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the
more as you see the day drawing near.”
Gathering
together provides us an opportunity to encourage one another. Having been
encouraged we are to love and do good deeds. Encouragement is very important,
but what
does that take to be an encourager? How can we be an encouragement to one another? As we reflect on
these verses we can see there are several contributors toward being an
encouragement to those we encounter.
