According to Oregon Health Authority
(https://sharedsystems.dhsoha.
guidance for churches there is a provision for churches to have services
following certain guidelines.
On Friday, May 8, from 6-8 pm we will, in compliance with these
guidelines, convene a meeting of the Canaan Community Church at pastor
Jeff's home for the purpose of gathering information and planning for
the next steps in reestablishing regular meetings.
To comply with the guidelines we will maintain social distancing of at
least 6 feet; Please feel free to wear a mask, gloves, etc (allowing
that others may not). We will meet outside. Please bring your own
outdoor chair for seating, sanitizer, etc. There will be no food or
drink. We will have a fire.
If you bring your children, they will need to sit with you.
The plan will be to meet to pray, plan, discuss what might be the next
steps.
There is a limit of less than 25 people and we will ensure we do not
exceed that.
If you are sick, or uncomfortable with meeting in this way, or consider
yourself vulnerable, then please do not come.
