Title: Freedom in Christ
Text: Colossians 2:16-19
In our text today, Colossians 2:16-19 we are warned about what we could call a spiritually toxic person. In this instance, these are not just spiritual people, but they are people within the the Church of Jesus Christ who poison other followers of Jesus. Contrary to promoting the peace and joy and freedom that God gives to the children of God, these toxic people entrap and enslave people. Those who drink from their toxic well are robbed of the abundant life available through the grace of Jesus.
Today we look at two truths that will protect us from toxic spiritual gurus who. By carefully heeding these truths we can have spiritual health and freedom by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
