We should not be surprised that the world, and our culture in particular, is growing in blatant ungodliness. But we do need to be careful to take the action that God calls us to take instead of what our flesh would dictate. God wants us to be like Jesus. We need to diagnose the problem of the world as God does – a lack of salvation. We need to take tangible steps to guard ourselves by being anchored in the truth. We need to grow in knowledge and grace.
