Satisfied to Suffer

Although the Bible records the events about the birth of our Savior, it says nothing about celebrating it, whether we should or not. However, what is clear is that we are to celebrate Jesus, God's grace, our Salvation, and we are to celebrate suffering for our faith in Jesus....... In today's text we re-calibrate our response to suffering. Both the historical narratives of the church, and the direct teaching portions of the New Testament affirm that suffering is to be the Christian norm. 1 Peter 4:12-19
