Inadequate Alone

Christians are connected to one another because every Christian is connected to Christ. No matter what may happen between us, no matter what problems we may have, no matter how far we may separate ourselves form one another- the fact is that if you are a Christian you are connected to every other believer because every Christian is connected to Jesus. This concept is what Paul is trying to explain to the believers at Corinth. The Corinthians were upset that Paul had confronted them about their pride, sin, and immaturity. They somehow wanted to be disconnected from Paul, but that was impossible to do since they are both connected to Christ, who is the vine.
